Environment Office Dipl. Ing. Mulisch GmbH
The Environment Office Dipl.-Ing. Mulisch GmbH is a practice- oriented, research and consulting office for the fields of environmental hygiene, environmental technology and environmental management. The environment office was founded in spring 2000 and employs personnel from different scientific subject areas. A central task of the office is to produce scientific and technical services as well as a constructive design and accompaniment of environmentally relevant issues, in order to give administrations/authorities, enterprises, associations and individuals effective decision-making aids in the area of tension between technology, ecology, economy as well as social and health compatibility.
Environmental Verification Committee
The Environmental Verification Committee (UGA) is an independent administrative body which is under legal control of the federal ministry of the environment. It ensures quality of the EMAS accreditation and supervision system in Germany. The committee consists of 25 members representing all interested parties.
German Foundation for Environment
The German Foundation for Environment is one of Europe's largest foundations and promotes innovative and exemplary environmental projects. Since 1991, almost 5500 projects have received financial backing totalling about € 1 billion. The promotional activities concentrate on environmental technology and research, nature conservation, environmental communication and cultural assets. The Board of Advisors is the executive committee of the foundation, voting for the most important decisions. It consists of 14 members, appointed by the Federal Government.
EMAS
The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a management tool for companies and other organisations to evaluate report and improve their environmental performance. Since 2001 EMAS has been open to all economic sectors including public and private services
