Since the UN-summit in Rio de Janeiro 1992 numerous states and municipalities have passed a Local Agenda 21 and are busy implementing it, others are still at the beginning of this process. To single out specific initiatives here wouldn’t do justice to all the other good and successful projects. Therefore we compiled more general literature here that deals with the success and problems of LA21-concepts on a broader level.
